The following table lists results of optimizations achieved by the version of the optimizer for Analog Devices ADSP-2106x ( SHARC ) DSP; click here to see examples of the SHARC code optimizations.

All code improvements are over performance of the code that is maximally optimized by the cc21k compiler. Optimization of the code generated by the g21k compiler produces similar code improvements.
